WEll today we learned the stages of our developement according to freud and they were quite interesting. Oral is interesting after all babies can only suck but the anal could have a better name in my opinion. Phallic as well learning to have a complex weather it be Edipus or Electra. The latency stage is a basic summary of learning life and kind of weakly explaining things but around that age and change differently.
Today we learned about the Freudian theory and how people depeveloment their personality. A structure of a personality is the id, ego, and then the super ego. The id is the childish part in us that makes us think about doing little devious things. The ego makes us think about not doing those things because it could harm others and the super ego prevents us from doing those things just because of common sense.
Frued's theories works in mysterious ways that make you think about your life. I've learned more in depth about the three structure personalities and the early stages of childhood development. The Oedipus & Electra story about female/male kids clinging to the oposite sex parents. Put that all together its just the development of the human psyche.
sigmund frued was a psychologist who came up with personality structures, peronality development, dreams, and the oedipus and electra theories. frued thought that kids went through stages like that oral anal and phallic. these stages are said to be what a child should expierence as they grow up and how the should react to them as they get older.
Sigmund Freud is an amazing psychologist and I love learning about him because it makes me think more about why people and myself are the way we are. The Id, Ego, and SuperEgo helps me see why I think about doing things before I actually do them. I really liked the part where we talked about how Freud analyzed dreams. I always wanted to know where dreams came from and why we had the dreams we have. Now I know that it's either the last thing we thought about when we went to sleep or because we were just bored. We learned about all the stages of growing up and development which really helped me understand the behaviors in children even as they grow up
i learned about the id, ego, and super ego. i made a connection that the id is like the little devil on the right shoulder and the ego is the angel on the left. then.. the super ego is probably the person making the final decision. i learned sigmund's way of thought about the development of a baby. also learned what a dream can means... Oedipus, and Electra. it's strange but funny. learned a lot to today!
I learned about the stages of personality development and how you had to get through those stages to be considered as normal. The structure of personality how the ID is the deinition of fun with out control Ego is what some what controld the ID to a certin extent its what stops you from doing all the crazy stuff you want to do like thowin someone out the window super ego is like the mother that distributes the ego and Id to certin parts of the brain. We also learned how dreams are like the most iner desires that you realy want but cant really have.
Sigmund Freud seemed like a very interesting person. I like his ideas about how personalities are developed. I believe that at the age of 12 a persons personality can definitely be shown and expressed. I also found it to be interesting how one could be raised retentive and expulsive and use that to build their personality. He put together the I.D, ego, and super ego and showed everyone how it worked. Sigmund took the human mind to another level.
Today I learned a whole lot more on the Freud theories. For example, i never knew that he thought of 3 stages that humans went through throughout their whole life. I also refeshed my knowlege on the whole id, ego, and superego thing. I had no clue that the ego was the thing that kept your id thoughts in check. But the oral stage of human lives are when they are first experiencing the world and they learn different and new things from their mouths. Anal was when they learn to use the potty, and Phallic is when humans learn to be dominate
Sigmund Freud was a psychologist who had the biggest impact on this world from his theories and discoveries. For example, his personality theory the Id, Ego, and Superego had made people think about people actually having a conscious. It changed the way many other psychologists thought because they went for the more general idea of the mind then actually trying analyzing the mind. Another one of his theories is the way people dream. He came up with that people dream the way they do, because their mind is bored or whatever they thought of last night before you went asleep. He had mad answers to the details in yours dreams and how to interpret it.
sigmund frued is a very observative person that made conclusions and justified them with human activity. his thoughts about dreams and personality are examples of persoanl development. the structures of the human mind (id,ego, super ego)exempliefs why we develop the way we do
In class we learned a little bit of background information about the psychiatrist Siegmunf Freud. We learned about his theory about personalities and personality development. The stages of personality development that we learned about were oral (0-6 months), anal (6 months-3 yrs old), phallic (3-5 yrs old) latency (5- 12 yrs old) and then 12+. According to Freud, each of the stages contribute to the development of the child and how he/she acts as they get older.
Today in class we discussed Oedipus and Sigmund Freud. Oedipus was used in the early stages of psychology and was valid in the earlier times. We discussed Freud in great detail and the structure of the mind and the stages of personality development. The structure like the Id, Ego, and Super Ego. And the stages Oral, Anal, and Phallic.
Sigmund Freud was a psychiatrist way back in the days way before things was thought of. He came up with personality structures like ID, Ego, and Super Ego. Why we have dreams and what there about. He also came up stages and personality development. Which are oral, anal, and phollic. Thens theres latency with the ages of 5-12.
today in class we learned about sigmund freud. i enjoyed the lesson because i wrote a paper on him last year, and i was fairly interested in his thoughts and conclusions. one thing i remembered about him is that he said that 'dreams are you inner most desires'...well something like that. however, that's what he meant. we also learned about the different stages of development, and the structure of personality. we also covered the oedipus complex, electra, and penis envy. i read about these things...but we went into depth with them.
Today in class we discussed the Sigmund Freud theory. This is based up the dreams and personalities of humans. The structures of personalities are the Id, Ego and Superego. We also discussed the theory of Oedipus and how it goes through the stages of killing the dad, loving mom, marrying mom, pulling out eyes, and killing self. This theory is basically the ideal of obsessions of the mother between the son. The difference stages of personality development also ties into the Theory of Sigmund Freud; oral, anal, phallic, and latency.
Today I learned that from birth to about 6 months babies are in the oral stage, when they're just go around putting everything in their mouth basically their way of learning. Then up to the age of 3 they are in the anal stage when they are potty trained. Next is the phallic stage which is the stage of the penis, after that would come the Latency stage a.k.a. puberty.
Today we learned things about Sigmund Freud. We learned a little about him personally and something about his work. He was a medical doctor who started to study the mind. Back in his day the used cocaine as an anesthetic and he began to start using it. He developed some theories. He developed the Oedipus complex based on the character Oedipus from Greek mythology. He also brought us the Id, Ego, and Super Ego. The Id is our impulses, the Ego keeps the Id in check, and the Super Ego is kind of the prissy and perfectionist within us.
